Our client, a top 5 global freight forwarding company, is looking for their future Air import Coordinator – Permanent contract.

Reporting to the Head of Airfreight, you are responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient importation of goods by air, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination. This role involves coordinating with multiple parties, including airlines, customs agents, and trucking companies, and requires strong organisational and communication skills.

You and your team are in charge of the importation of goods by air, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.

You communicate with airlines, customs agents, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.

You track shipments and provide updates to customers as needed.

You prepare and submit required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and other relevant paperwork.

You ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws.

You manage relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service.

In order to succeed in the job, you have at least 4 years’ experience in Air Import Logistics of Freight Forwarding as a Supervisor. You have excellent organisational and time management skills.

You have good knowledge of air freight logistics, customs regulations and trade laws and regulations. You are fluent in English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
