Our client, a strong actor of the supply chain market in Europe, is looking for a person to join the VAT Manager for a temporary assignment (3-6 months contract) in order to review the german VAT files. The company offers flexible working hours and a home office. The selected candidate will be in charge of the following responsibilities : - Review of German files from previous periods - Identification of transactions with incorrect tax codes - Management of corrections of invoices issued with incorrect tax codes (cancellation and issuance of new invoices with correct tax code) - Maintenance of corrections tracker (incorrect invoice, CN, new invoice, concerned report - Preparation of corrective VAT returns and EC Sales Lists - Preparation of data and documentation for service provider in charge of submission - Support for communication with intercompany partners impacted by the correction - Support on other German VAT related topics / regular compliance files The ideal candidate has experience in German VAT in commercial companies, and is really comfortable with Excel (vlookup, etc..). He/she is immediately available and has good knowledge of German (writing and reading) and English or French.
